Arts University Plymouth’s research community benefits from the unique environment of a traditional art school, combined with the opportunities afforded by access to new technologies and engagement with creative pedagogy.

This text provides a contextual account of two featured drawings made in response to diametrically opposed sites in the east and west of England. It reflects upon the materiality of drawing and its ability to expand our relational understanding of the world around us.
