What does a career in the creative industry look like?

At Plymouth College of Art we treat studying a creative degree as a stepping-stone to working as a creative professional.

With the UK’s creative industries contributing more than £115.9 billion to the economy in 2019 according to the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport, there are real benefits in following your passion and studying a creative degree.

At Plymouth College of Art we treat studying a creative degree as a stepping-stone to working as a creative professional. We focus on teaching you how to build your own working practice with transferable skills that increase your employability, as well as giving you space to nurture your creative talent, and helping you build industry contacts as you study.
