Pre-Degree Online Open Day
Before deciding where and what to study, it is important that you find out as much as you can about the place and the course you are interested in. At our Online Open Day, we'll have everything you need to know about our UAL Level 3 Extended Diplomas, International Baccalaureate Career-related Programmes and Foundation Diplomas.
Our Open Days are a chance for you to explore Plymouth and the college, and to get a feel of what life’s like at an independent art school in Britain's Ocean City. Get to know our campus and state-of-the-art facilities, speak live to our programme leaders and talk through any questions or queries you might have with our knowledgeable staff. We have representatives from Student Finance, Admissions, Student Support and the Student Body on hand throughout your visit.
We welcome drop-ins, but to make the most of the event and receive more information over email, we recommend booking your place in advance. To join the talk simply set up your computer, tablet or mobile phone and click through the link provided over email and in the schedule below (talk title will become clickable on the event date).
Your Open Day experience will include:
A Welcome Talk by our Pre-Degree Manager Steven Forsyth and Curriculum Manager Maddie Blyth who will give an overview of what Plymouth College of Art has to offer and how studying with us can prepare you for an exciting career in the creative industries.
A Course Overview Talk from our lead academics detailing the vast variety of courses we have to offer and showcasing the successful creative careers our alumni go on to. These talks will be split up into course areas which you will be able to choose from on the day. If you would like to go to more than one course area talk, please let us know and we will organise this for you.
There will also be the opportunity to have one-to-one chats with our academic, admissions, and student support staff as well the chance to find out what student life is like from our current students themselves! The topics we can cover include but are not limited to:
IBCP (International Baccalaureate Careers Programme)
