This summer, IGNITE Festival of Creativity, a city-wide showcase of creative talent will take over Plymouth. From Friday 5 - Saturday 20 June 2020, industry professionals and the general public are invited to participate in free and ticketed activities that demonstrate the value of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Led by a partnership between the University of Plymouth, Plymouth College of Art and Plymouth City Council as part of the iMayflower project, the IGNITE Festival is supported with funding from the Cultural Development Fund through Arts Council England and DCMS.
The two-week programme of events will run alongside two flagship degree shows and is suitable for all audiences and ages. Visitors can go behind the scenes of Plymouth’s leading creative institutions, discovering new skills and exchanging knowledge with students, alumni and local practitioners. The event will also celebrate partnerships with key economic sectors and their combined contributions to making the city a flourishing, innovative and dynamic place to live, work and visit.
