Making a decision on where and what you want to study can be tough, but one of the best ways to get to know your new university is to attend an Open Day. Whether you’re applying for Pre-Degree, Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies, our onsite Open Days can tell you everything you need to know about our BA (Hons) Degrees, Extended Diploma, Foundation Diploma and MA/MFA courses.

If you’ve got an idea of what you’d like to study, an Open Day gives you the opportunity to explore your options and discover what the right choice is for you. Not only do you get to check out where you’ll be studying with your coursemates, it’s a great chance to meet the lecturers, get a feel for the community here and ask any questions you may have. Whether you’re undecided or have a career path in mind, you can find out what you’ll be learning and how the skills you learn will set you up for success on graduating.

Open Days are a great chance to get up close and personal with the facilities you’ll have access to while you study. Plymouth College of Art offers state-of-the-art studios and workspaces, as well as access to a hub of resources ranging from digital tech to classic analogue equipment - and you’ll have access to all of it, no matter what you choose to study. Don’t just consider the kit, spaces and workshops though, our library, students’ union and campus all play a huge part in your student experience. Our expert technicians will be poised to answer all the questions you have about what equipment and resources you’d love to use while studying.

Situated on the coast of Devon in the South West of England, Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth has so much to offer students during their studies, from an exciting blend of art, culture, film and music, to natural inspiration in stunning neighbouring countryside and beaches. If you’re already popping to an Open Day, it’s definitely worth exploring more of the city and its surroundings to get the full experience of student life in Plymouth.

By meeting staff in person at an Open Day, you get to have a face to face conversation with our expert academics, technicians and supporting staff about the student experience at Plymouth College of Art. The staff will lead and support you through your education, so it’s a great chance to ask questions about the course/s you’re interested in and hear how they’ll support you in your studies.
