From immersive animations and cutting-edge fashion design to contemporary illustration and timeless glass and ceramics, creative graduates are taking over sites across the city with a host of exhibitions and showcases, as part of Arts University Plymouth’s season of 2022 Summer Shows and events and as part of the IGNITE Festival of Creativity.

Before deciding where and what to study, it is important that you find out as much as you can about the place and the course you are interested in. At our Open Day, we'll have everything you need to know about our BA (Hons) Degrees, Extended BA programme, Postgraduate Study and Foundation Diploma.

In celebration of its four year anniversary, and debuting for the first time at Marjon’s, REACH brings proper professional wrestling to Plymouth. Featuring wrestlers such as Jordan Sparkes, Aurora, Echo Read, Joey Seven, Alexander Grey, Toby Valentine and many more, tickets are selling fast so don’t miss out.

Austin Butler and Tom Hanks star in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, showing from 8 to 14 July at Plymouth Arts Cinema

An epic, big-screen spectacle from visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, exploring the life and music of Elvis Presley. Elvis’ story is seen through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker. As told by Parker, and with a backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape in America, the film delves into the complex dynamic between the two - a partnership that spanned over 20 years from Presley’s rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom.

Plymouth Respect Festival is an annual celebration of the city’s diverse culture and has been organised by the Plymouth & Devon Racial Equality Council. In the Guildhall, there will be three floors of amazing free activities including workshops, community dance and music and a spoken word event.

Bringing to life the legendary anthems of Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf, this critically-acclaimed production uniquely combines the magic and excitement of a musical with the immense energy of rock and roll. Join Strat, the forever young leader of rebellious gang ‘The Lost’ as he falls in love with Raven, the beautiful daughter of the tyrannical ruler of Obsidian.

Join this year's Pretty Muddy 5K Race For Life to crawl through the mud pit, have fun with your friends and raise valuable funds for life-saving research

The Pretty Muddy Race for Life is a brilliant 5K muddy obstacle course. The route follows pathways around Central Park, with woodland and open parkland sections, with the route steep in some places but with a mixture of grass and park pathways. There’s also lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle. What are you waiting for? Scramble over the A-frame, crawl through the mud pit, have fun with your friends and raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

It’s been 40 years since St Luke’s welcomed their first patients, so join in remembering each and every person that St Luke’s has had the privilege of looking after and walking in tribute to them. This year, for the first time ever, there will be a 2.5 mile route for young children with the theme of this year’s event being 1982, the year St Luke’s began…

22 July 2022 - from midnight @ Home Park Stadium

SailGP, the world’s most competitive racing on water, is returning to Plymouth. Ten competing nations will race it out in identical fast foiling F50 catamarans reaching speeds exceeding 60mph.
