<p dir="ltr">Part time lecturer and part time <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate/ma-textile-design">MA Textile Design </a>student <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/people/rebecca-dodman">Becky Dodman Wainwright</a> will walk you through the tea leaf reading process and how it can be used as a design tool for textiles. Design plans from your tea leaves, exploring shape and colour. No previous experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun, go with the flow and explore the unknown. <p dir="ltr">To mark the exhibition <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/events/mohini-chandra-paradise-lost-mirror">‘Paradise Lost’ by artist Mohini Chandra</a> at <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/visit/the-gallery">MIRROR</a>, Plymouth College of Art is hosting the ‘Stray Finds’ event, in conjunction with local history project, the <a href="http://www.shipsproject.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SHIPS Project</a> and the <a href="https://www.fablabplymouth.org/projects/smart-citizens-programme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Smart Citizens Programme</a>. Meet the artist and the SHIPS project team and examine shipwreck artefacts and ‘treasure’ found by local divers. This is then followed by a <a href="https://www.plymouthart.ac.uk/resources/fab-lab">Fab Lab</a> tour at the college, where the archaeological artefacts can be 3D scanned and reproduced through digital fabrication processes.
