Frédérique Santune

Senior Lecturer & Subject Leader, MA Subject Tutor

Frédérique is a designer, educator and researcher.

She studied graphic and interactive design in France and obtained a BA and an MA at ESAD Amiens (2000) followed by one year research at ARI (Interactive Research Workshop) at ENSAD Paris (2001).

She has more than 20 years of experience in print, web and motion design in studios, agencies and finally as a freelancer in Paris and the UK. Her expertise resides in graphics for social, artistic and cultural facilitation. She is working toward a PhD whose core is the digital poetry experience.

Frédérique is interested in both paper and screen-based media. She focuses her teaching on encompassing practice and theory, informed by a cross-disciplinary approach. Here at Plymouth College of Art, Frédérique leads the BA (Hons) Graphic Communication course and is a Subject Tutor for our MA Visual Communication programme.
