Frédérique is a designer with fifteen years experience focused on cultural and educational fields, mainly in Paris.
Currently a PhD student at CADRE University of Wolverhampton, she is educated to Masters level in Art and Design, specialising in graphic and digital design, at école supérieure d’art et de design d’Amiens, France. She also gained an extra research year in interactive research A.R.I. at école nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, Paris.
Frédérique is interested in both paper and screen-based media, as long as it involves user journeys through words. She focuses her teaching on encompassing practice and theory, informed by a cross-disciplinary approach. Here at Plymouth College of Art, Frédérique teaches BA (Hons) Graphic Design theory and practice and is a Subject Tutor for our MA Visual Communication programme.
Frederique is currently on sabbatical.
Frédérique’s theoretical and practical research deal with language, perception, aesthetics and materiality.
