Ben Borthwick, Artistic Director of Plymouth Arts Centre, will discuss his conversations with Rose Wylie over the last decade that have led to the exhibition History Painting.
Formerly CEO and artistic director of Cardiff’s Artes Mundi (2010-2012) and assistant curator at Tate Modern (2003-2010), Ben has a rich background of curating and developing innovative exhibitions with contemporary artists such as Heather Phillipson, Ciara Phillips and Malcolm Le Grice.
Leading a discussion on his personal and professional relationship with Rose, he'll talk about the process of developing the multi-site exhibition History Painting with the acclaimed artist.
