In Pictures: Illustration hold week long Tree House workshops

Doodle blocks, creative Chimeras, and a human photobooth - just some of the activities taking place outside the Gallery today as part of Illustration's week long Tree House workshops.

Students and staff on the BA (Hons) Illustration course are holding a week of fun and colourful afternoon activities by the college reception, getting passers-by involved and making.

Mel Brown, course leader, said: "We're just trying to get people involved in drawing - as non-self-consciously as possible.

"The tasks have been developed so that people can just jump straight in.

"Without realising it, doodles will turn into narratives or character designs.

"People don't realise that, actually, they are doing something that is a real discipline."

Get your face sketched for 50p, get involved in some drawing, or just take a nose between 10am and 4pm for the rest of this week.
