If you are looking to improve your digital design and manufacturing skills to support your studies, or upskill to make yourself more employable, you can join a free course at Fab Lab Plymouth, Plymouth College of Art's industry-standard digital fabrication laboratory.
Delivered by Hidden Talent in Devon and fully funded by the European Social Fund, this FREE, eight-week course will teach participants to use Fusion 360 software. Fusion 360 is a complete design tool that allows you to design and make products - from concept to production.
Relevant in a wealth of industries - from textiles to the built environment, and toys to tech, Fusion 360 skills are useful throughout the creative industries and beyond.
The Design and Make (Almost) Anything course will support the development of your skills across the design and manufacturing aspects of the software package, including sketching, sculpting, scanning 3D objects, 2D laser cutting, 3D printing and CNC machining.
The course will culminate in each participant developing a personal project.
Open to anyone living in Devon who is aged 16 and over, Design and Make (Almost) Anything has been created to improve employability prospects for people wishing to change career, upskill or to support their current studies, and it is completely free (some eligibility criteria apply, see below for more details).

All equipment and materials will be provided - you just need to bring some enthusiasm and meet the following criteria:
