Information events are held regularly throughout the year, so please keep an eye out for posters and calendar invites via your college email.
Erasmus+ mobility for outgoing students takes place in your second year of study, either the autumn term (usually September – January) or spring term (usually February – June). The language of instruction will not always be English, so you will need to have a good standard of the language of the country that you wish to study in.
Students interested in studying at one of our partner institutions should research their website, programmes of study and accommodation, in order to ensure there is an appropriate match with the programme currently being studied. It is very important to ask your current Programme Leader for advice to find the appropriate partner institution and programme. Supported by the Programme Leader, the nomination/application process starts by submitting a Motivation Letter to pcaerasmus@pca.ac.uk.
After approval the nomination will be passed by the Erasmus+ Co-Ordinator to the partner institution, who will then contact the candidate or Erasmus+ Co-ordinator at Plymouth College of Art about the application process. Depending on the partner institution there are different ways to submit the application, either electronically by web portal or by e-mail.
The following application documents and information are usually required:
- Application form or online application login
- Letter of motivation
- Europass CV
- Portfolio
- Transcript (please keep paper version) or latest assessment print out (SOMIS)
The Erasmus+ Co-ordinator of Plymouth College of Art assists with the application process. For more details please contact pcaerasmus@pca.ac.uk.
Students wishing to apply to us from one of our Erasmus+ partner institutions (detailed in the chart above) must be first nominated by their University.
The deadlines for studying with us are:
- 15 May each year for the Autumn Semester (September – January)
- 15 November each year for the Spring Semester (February – June)
