Workshop Experience Day

We are hosting an exciting series of digital and on-campus Summer Skills Sessions throughout July and August. Each session will be focused on a different topic, giving you the opportunity to learn new skills, speak with our expert academic staff and ask questions about what it's like to study at an independent art school in the South West. Join us on-campus on 18 August from 10am - 3pm for our on-campus Workshop Experience Day and experience our state-of-the-art facilities first hand. With a variety of workshops to choose from, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and get a taste for the creative courses we offer.

Before you book a visit with us please read the following procedures we have put in place to ensure the safety of all visitors, staff and students. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE - While the national vaccination programme is rolling out at a good pace, we have a responsibility to protect all members of our community and want to do everything that we can not to spread the virus. To help safeguard all members of our community, we advise that all visitors should take an LFD test test and aim to have two negative test results, three days apart, before visiting the campus. LFD tests are readily available at pharmacies nationwide and can be done at home. The last test should be performed as close to the date of your visit as possible. If you are travelling from an area which is currently undergoing surge testing, you are strongly advised to have a test before you travel. If the test is positive, you must not travel until your period of self-isolation is complete. ARRIVING ON TO CAMPUS - Please do the following when arriving onour campus for your event.<ul><li dir="ltr">Take your temperature</li><li dir="ltr">Sanitise your hands</li><li dir="ltr">Check in at reception</li><li dir="ltr">Maintain a 2m distance</li></ul>We recommend you wear a face mask throughout your visit however this is not compulsory. FACE COVERINGS - Face coverings are one of a number of tools that we can use to help slow the spread of coronavirus, protecting the health and wellbeing of the most vulnerable members of our community and guests. We understand that a limited number of people visiting the campus will be exempt from the need to wear face coverings. SYMPTOMS - If you have Coronavirus symptoms, have tested positive for Coronavirus within the past 10 days or are awaiting a Coronavirus test result, please do not attend an in-person event. You will still then be able to visit us at a later date when and take advantage of our Travel Bursary scheme. WHAT HAPPENS IF LOCKDOWN RULES CHANGE? - Our team are continuously monitoring the government roadmap for the next few months and will always ensure all events are following recommended guidelines. Please note that all on-campus events are subject to being moved online if restrictions change. If this does happen all registered attendees will be notified.
