Far From Near, PCA 2020 Graduates One Year On | Summer Shows 2021
Due to lockdown restrictions in 2020, Plymouth College of Art graduates were prevented from having their work presented in real time and space in a degree exhibition befitting the conclusion of their creative studies.
Over the last year or so, every creative practitioner has had to redefine the nature of what they make, using resources immediately around them. And as every artist or designer knows, creative limitations are often the environment from which the best work is made.
One year on (and with the class of 2020's much delayed Graduation ceremony set to take place under Covid-safe measures next month), we are pleased to announce that all of last year's graduates have been offered the opportunity to exhibit their work at one of Europe's most exciting new venues - right here in Plymouth.
The work will be exhibited at The Market Hall in Plymouth, a new state of the art £7.6million digital space situated in the heart of Devonport, also home to Europe's largest immersive dome.
