Digital Drop-in

Whether you're considering a creative course with us in September 2020 or are just starting out on your research into 2021 study, this informal event is for you. Online and on-campus, we can't wait to show you what makes Plymouth College of Art so special.

In lieu of our regular Open Day schedule, we're pleased to invite you to our next Digital Drop-in event. Each session will give you the chance to live chat with staff and students, find out about our range of postgraduate, undergraduate and pre-degree courses, and get a feel for what life is really like at a university-sector, specialist art school by the sea.

Please click a date below to express your interest and receive more information on talk times and speakers.

A typical event may include the following schedule of talks...

Begin your online experience with an informal welcome from our friendly student recruitment team. Here you can enjoy a general introduction to the college, our history and ethos, and plan your talk schedule for the evening. You can drop-in and out of this session at any time and we'll be on hand to answer your questions.

Hosted by our expert academics, this talk is your chance to connect with subject-specific staff teaching higher education (HE) at the college. Ask us about the courses you're interested in, studios and resources, portfolio tips, module content and more. Our staff are on-hand to discuss opportunities available throughout your studies, including visiting lecturers, industry placements, international trips and graduate employability.

If you're considering your future in post-16 Further Education, this talk is a must-see. Come along and meet our dynamic pre-degree staff who can give you a flavour of the subject areas on offer, potential career paths and HE progression routes, and the exceptional trips our Extended Diploma, International Baccalaureate and Level 2 students undertake.

Chat to our Students Union president and other representatives about life in Britain's Ocean City. Discover our local culture and creative community, clubs and societies, and affordable housing options.

Say hello to our knowledgable Admissions and Student Support staff. From advice on making an application to information on student finance, study support and mental wellbeing, we'll make sure you leave armed with individualised advice on your next steps.

Whether you're armed with questions and ready to chat over video or would prefer to quietly sit back and listen - we can't wait to welcome you to our Digital Drop-in event. If you're ready to start exploring your future beforehand, check out the content below:
