Working with industry experts and world-renowned brands, our fashion, costume and textiles courses cover everything from designing and creating fabrics, to whole fashion collections or costumes for film and performance, through to styling, shooting and promoting brands. To produce meaningful design, whether it be an environment, product, service, or performance, requires a designer to balance and creatively reinvent the social interface between maker and end-user. Whilst good design shows how form solves problems or conveys complexity in beautiful ways, it simultaneously fosters a way of thinking about our world as a shared experience.

Our January Start BA (Hons) degrees offer an accelerated year one, allowing students to study flexibly at home through our online distance learning programme for their first year. Students will finish their course in the Summer, and progress into their second year in-person at Arts University Plymouth in September.
