Jewellery Making with Metals for Beginners — Overview
No previous knowledge is needed for this course. You will learn some basic traditional jewellery making techniques such as soldering, texturing, sawing and piercing, drilling, finishing and colouring. You will come away with several pieces of jewellery.
Mark making using a hammer
Texturing using a rolling mill.
Silver soldering and piercing practice
Learn how to make a metal bead
Make a band ring
Cabochon/sea glass stone setting
Finish all projects
Materials and Equipment to bring
Pen and a pencil. Folder to put in course notes.
Sturdy flat footwear, old clothes. An old cotton tea towel/flannel would be handy.

No previous experience required
Small cost for a price of a stone and materials (optional) £1- £10
