Adobe Photoshop for Beginners — Overview
The course will cover how best to set up photoshop to maximise the power of your computer. After this you will be shown how each of the tools operate and how they affect the image you are working on. You will then work through a series of tasks that introduce you to the basic skills required to edit photographs.

How to turn images black and white using layers
Basic intro into the benefits of using Lightroom with Photoshop
How to use actions and add texture to images using layers
Making a brush and the brush palette. Creating panoramas with automate
Creating HDR images (High Dynamic Range)
How to manipulate a portrait using layers
How to add text to an image
Merging images to remove objects or people
Basic computer literacy. Previous use of photoshop will help. All of the above is subject to change depending on the ability of students.

Pen Paper, USB drive
