What’s on at our cinema: May & June 2019

By Kat Peberdy

Taron Egerton stars in the Elton John biopic Rocketman, showing in the cinema from Friday 21 June

Wondering what you will see at Plymouth Arts Cinema in May and June? Whether they’ll be showing country music drama Wild Rose? Dame Judi Dench spy thriller Red Joan? Hit Elton John biopic Rocketman? The answer is yes to all!

These are a particularly exciting couple of months, as their usual mix of independent British, American and World Cinema is topped up with a series of one-off events, which will see special guests, talks and Q&As (and even a sea swim from the Hoe!), culminating with the return of the Rebel Film Festival on the last weekend of June.

Plymouth College of Art staff and students can treat themselves to a film for just £4 (standard ticket price £9), by showing their college ID card when purchasing their tickets at the Box Office, or by selecting the 'PCA staff/student' ticket option when booking online.
