Earlier this month, British-born denim designer and enthusiast Mohsin Sajid gave a 'riveting' talk about the history of denim, his company ENDRIME and design practice in general. If you missed out, watch the video here.
The talk covered key events in denim history from the 1920s to today; the New Denim Renaissance; cotton, yarn & denim manufacturing processes and more.
Following the talk, Mohsin, who has previously designed for companies including Levi’s and Evisu, presented a selection of vintage pre 1920s pieces and a selection of 30 other denim samples from the ENDRIME archive.
This talk was part of an events programme running alongside the BOUDICCA exhibition in the Gallery - open to the public until 9th June.
