Hidden Talent in Devon is an exciting new project that enables people from a range of backgrounds to access creative workshops and learn new skills.
Running until December 2019, the project aims to give a broader range of people the opportunity to take part in workshops and short courses that they might not otherwise have access to. Fully funded by the European Social Fund, Hidden Talent in Devon workshops are being offered to participants for free.
Here at Plymouth College of Art, we’ll be offering a variety of creative activities to get stuck into, including taster days and short courses in digital photography and 2D and 3D design.

Want to have a go at digital design and manufacturing? Our first Hidden Talent in Devon course will equip you to Design and Make (Almost) Anything! Based at Fab Lab Plymouth, our fully equipped digital fabrication laboratory, this eight week course starts on Monday 16 April 2018 and offers participants the chance to get to grips with Fusion 360 software, a complete 2D and 3D design and manufacturing package, before developing a personal project.
Are you interested in building your digital photography skills? Hidden Talent in Devon is also offering an Introduction to Digital Photography course, consisting of a taster evening on Wednesday 18 April 2018, followed by a six week course. The course offers the chance to learn how to utilise light and movement, giving you the confidence to step away from auto mode.
