Painting, Drawing & Printmaking graduates to exhibit in London

By Kat Peberdy

BA (Hons) Painting, Drawing & Printmaking graduates are making their mark on the art scene in London this November, with a collection of works being showcased as part of their Uncommon Ground exhibition at No Format Gallery.

No Format is an interdisciplinary visual arts gallery space, curated and managed by Second Floor Studios & Arts. Based in Deptford, London, this leading arts organisation supports emerging artists with affordable studio space and exhibition opportunities in a prime central location.

Seven artists who recently graduated from the BA (Hons) Painting, Drawing & Printmaking programme are contributing works previously displayed at this years Breaking Through Degree Show to produce Uncommon Ground, a collection of interdisciplinary works.

This four-day exhibition will showcase the diverse range of opportunities to specialise within the programme, from oil painting, water-based painting, drawing and fine print.

Work will be exhibited from the following graduates: Jane Pine, Alex Lee, Marie Taylor, Michelle Burns, Natalie Rawling, Amelia Webster and Terry Channell. By exhibiting in Deptford, the graduates aim to form new collaborations and future project exchanges between artists in London and the South West.

The event is free to attend and open to all. Members of the public are invited to visit the gallery on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 November between 11am and 6pm, and Sunday 12 November between 11am and 4pm.
