In Pictures: Glowing glass visit for Creative School children

Wide eyes and big smiles were on show (and plenty of “oohs” and “ahhs” were to be heard!) as children from our sponsored creative free school visited our leading glass studios this week.

The pupils from Plymouth School of Creative Arts, based in Millbay and for children aged 4-16, worked with our expert glass technicians to create moulds of their hands ready for an exhibition at the school.

Glass technician Amy Whittingham said: “It was lots of fun working with the children and showing them the excellent facilities we have at the college.

“They really seemed to enjoy watching the process of creating the glass moulds – and hopefully learned a lot too!”
