As part of our Moving Image season, The Gallery hosted a new installation by Claire Hooper, an artist that works with moving image, painting, performance and sculptural installations, drawing on ancient mythology to produce contemporary layered narratives in her work alongside a performance by Asifa Lahore 'Britain's First Out Muslim Drag Queen'.

Congratulations to our class of 2016! We celebrated years of hard work and creativity on Sunday 27 November at our 2016 Graduation ceremony. Hosted at Theatre Royal Plymouth, we awarded Honorary Fellowships jointly to Sir John Sorrell CBE and Lady Frances Sorrell OBE, and to Katie Greenyer, Creative Director of Pentland Brands.
On Wednesday 2 November 2016, Katie Greenyer, Creative Director of Pentland Brands, formally opened Palace Court, our brand new Pre-Degree campus for 16 to 19-year-olds studying creative Extended Diplomas - taking place alongside our annual Design to Sell event, demonstrating entrepreneurship in our students.
Over 200 students from schools across Devon participated in HackFest, a county-wide project for young people to come together to create product prototypes that respond to the issues of the future, led by FabLab Plymouth here at the college with FabLab Devon as partners.

Made@EU showcased the work of artists, designers and makers who have worked on residencies at the college as part of an exciting European Fab Lab project funded by Creative Europe. In an exhibition that included sculpture, animated film, furniture and architectural models, The Gallery played host to work by Adriana Ionascu, Alfie Smith, Jack West, Laura Martinez, Mark von Rosenstiel, Matthew Bush, Phil Cuttance, Ludovic Mallegol and Annemie Maes.
