Viktoria Münzker creates jewellery, or as she would prefer to term them, art objects, which are worn on the human body. Slightly odd or strange at first glance, the objects bring to life Münzkers’ imagination; playfully depicting what things might look like, or could be.
They draw on feelings, wishes, hopes and fears – mined from personal experiences and her subconscious. Jewellery gives Viktoria the platform to make her ideas real and portable, creating a space for non-verbal communication.
Based in Austria, Viktoria Münzker will be making the trip to Plymouth especially to give this talk on Wednesday 2 December, 5.30-6.30pm.
