The Graduate School at Plymouth College of Art is a centre for practice-based research in art, design, craft and media disciplines. It provides a space where practitioners can develop distinctive and innovative work in dialogue with one another.
The exhibition features work from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, made by students completing their studies on our MA Photography, MA Fine Art, MA Illustration, MA Contemporary Craft and MA Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice programmes.
Encounters with art, media, craft, and design can change the way we experience the world. Artworks are ideas that slip between categories, making possible different kinds of perception. The graduates this year explore in different ways the agency of creative practice as a form of research into contemporary experience.
Their work also communicates the intelligence, commitment, and endeavour of the artists, designers, photographers, and makers graduating from Plymouth College of Art MA programmes this year.
Join us for the preview evening on Tuesday 5 September, 5-8pm with free refreshments and a first look at the exhibition.
