South West Showcase Discussion – Artists Access to Empty Buildings

Artists Access to Empty Buildings

With presentations by artist run projects Stroud Valley Arts and Bristol Biennial about their use of empty buildings, this event will also explore artists in Plymouth gaining access to spaces.

A panel discussion led by Grace Davies of Visual Arts South West will also include representatives from the City Council planning department, Vickie Fear co-ordinator of PAC associates and local developers.

This event has been developed in partnership with Visual Arts South West.

The South West Showcase involves a series of exhibitions, talks and screenings in the Gallery at Plymouth College of Art and aims to uncover and celebrate the talent of contemporary artists working and living in the South West.

It also aims to present a long-term commitment from Plymouth College of Art to profiling and supporting the practices of visual artists in this region.
