Art of Glass — The National Centre for Craft & Design

Land Marks II

Art of Glass presents the outstanding work of leading glass artists in Britain today. Over the last 50 years, Britain has had a significant impact on how glass is perceived as an art form. Both national and international artists have based themselves here, drawn to the teaching and world-renowned facilities the UK offers.

The National Centre for Craft & Design and National Museums Scotland have worked in partnership to bring Art of Glass to fruition and to examine the diverse work of established and emerging glass artists working in Britain today. The exhibition showcases an array of work from the most exciting glass artists today, including BA (Hons) 3D Design Crafts programme leader Gayle Matthias.
