Sorrell Saturday Art and Design (Age 14 16) at Plymouth College of Art

30 Weeks for Free!

In addition to our regular Saturday Arts Club, Plymouth College of Art is now running a new National Saturday Arts Club which is funded by the Sorrell Foundation, starting 3 October 2009.

The Foundation is supported by the Audi design company and is offering FREE places to 25 students aged 14-16. The arts club will run over 30 Saturdays and will include a range of activities such as; animation, drawing, painting, fashion, photography, ceramics, sculpture, games design, print and multi-media.

There will be opportunities to visit London for design days and gallery visits. The Foundation will fund master-classes with internationally renowned artists and in addition will support an end of year exhibition of work to be staged at a London location.

Due to what is on offer, we do require commitment from the students who join us. We are looking for people who are happy to stay for the full 30 weeks, travel to London for 3 days out and fully engage with the activities provided.
