Description:

The course offers a practical introduction to jewellery making techniques and design principles and will give you the opportunity to start designing and making your own jewellery. A wide range of techniques are covered such as piercing, texturing, soldering, etching, formation and finishing. The course will be based in our dedicated small metals studio.

This course is qualification based and your achievement will be assessed. This will mean a small amount of work to evidence achievement. The qualification is an NCFE level 1 award.

Entry Requirements: No entry requirements are needed.

What you need to bring: Suitable clothing and footwear. Basic materials are supplied but you may need to purchase certain metals as your ideas develop.
