This practical course will introduce you to the digital photographic process where you will develop your skills in using digital imagery and in particular using editing equipment such as Photoshop.  You will explore and develop image production skills in order to produce and evaluate a range of photographic images.

Designed for digital camera users (compact or SLR) the course will cover basic technical explanations, from how to use the equipment you have to digital techniques combined with creative and practical skills.

This course is qualification based and your achievement will be assessed. This will mean a small amount of work to evidence achievement. The qualification is an NCFE level 1 award.

Entry requirement: No experience required.

What you need to bring: Notebook and pen, digital camera. You may need to purchase a memory stick or similar to store your images on.
