Description:

Mark making is the fundamental activity that underpins what we call drawing.  In this workshop you will explore the process of drawing as a vehicle for expressing ideas and images using a range of materials and surfaces.  Using a range of media such as pencils you will be introduced to range of drawing techniques exploring composition, perspective, scale and tone as well as research into key artists to inform your practical development.

Entry Requirements: No experience is required other than motivation and interest.

What you need to bring: Basic drawing materials such as soft drawing pencils 2B-6B, putty type, eraser and notebook. Suitable clothing and footwear

Time: 6pm – 9pm

Duration: 10 weeks

Cost: £125 - please note there will be a minimal materials cost once you start the course
