Foundation Learning Programme at Plymouth College of Art
What will I do?
This is a creative dynamic programme which allows students to develop a variety of transferrable skills to facilitate their individual development at Plymouth College of Art
The programme is full-time (3 days a week) and runs for one academic year.
Students will have the ability to explore a variety of 2 and 3 Dimensional materials and Photography (manual and digital).
What qualifications will I gain?
On completion and passing the full course you will gain the following qualifications:
BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Art and Design
Level 1 Award in Personal and Social Development
Functional Skills (level dependant on ability) in ICT, English and Mathmatics
What qualifications will I need?

How do I apply?
We offer all prospective students an opportunity to request an advisory interview to ensure that you are placed on the most suitable course; this can be a good opportunity to ask questions and get some advice on what we like to see in a portfolio.
Please apply on-line and when we receive your completed application form we will arrange for you to have an interview and ask you to bring along examples of your creative work.
Whilst we are happy to receive applications at any time of the year, we would encourage you to apply as early as possible before the start of the course.
