Masters in Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice
(21 months part-time or 1 year full-time Masters degree)
Do you want to explore the concept of entrepreneurship and creativity?
Perhaps you are keen to find your ideal means of earning an income from your practice?
As a specialist art college, we encourage the attitudes and skills to balance individuality with the ability to collaborate and the potential to become a change agent in your field.
This Masters course is aimed at creative practitioners and graduates who wish to chart a new future, accelerate their existing practice, find new direction and/or start-up a new enterprise. The programme is organised to deliver real practical outcomes that you can immediately apply to your practice, while rigorously testing your critical and entrepreneurial awareness. The entrepreneurial landscape is fast changing as we re-define the traditional boundaries, perceptions and definitions of the ‘entrepreneur’ for the 21st Century.
The course will challenge your intellectual, practical and creative ambitions by providing you with opportunities to showcase your current creative work and undertake live external projects in arts or business organisations, whilst nurturing your own self-directed critically-reflective learning. You’ll be encouraged to explore, experiment, stretch and transform your practice with interdisciplinary creative thinking in a real world environment.
Supported by visiting lecturers and our rich network of industry and creative entrepreneur partnerships, we provide an experiential platform that nurtures, nourishes and alchemises your practice.Through your external live project you will integrate your creative practice, professional and research skills in order to realise your entrepreneurial potential.
