Course Vacancies 2009

Don’t worry if you have not yet applied or find yourself without any offers. We still have places for 2009 on a selection of our courses.

To apply for any of our FE programmes such as our National Diplomas, please apply on-line by looking under the Courses section on our website. Please click on the course you are interested in and the on-line application form is on this section.

To apply for any of our degree programmes you will need to apply through the UCAS. UCAS operate a Clearing system which is used by applicants who have not managed to secure a place at university or college for the current year or have not yet applied. Clearing helps people to find suitable vacancies on higher education courses: more than 30,000 people gain a place during Clearing every year.

  • You are eligible for Clearing if:
  • you have not withdrawn your application;
  • you hold no offers; or
  • your offers have not been confirmed because you have not met the conditions (eg you have not achieved the required grades); or
  • you have declined your offers or not responded by the due date; or
  • your offers have not been confirmed, and you have declined any alternative offers from the same university; or
  •  you have applied after 30 June (12 June for Route B art and design courses).

Drop-in Advice Days for Full-Time Courses

For those who are interested in our degrees and have just received their A Level, Access, National Diploma results please visit us on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 26 August - 10am to 1pm

For those our interested in our range of full-time further education courses and who have just received their GCSE results, please visit us on the following dates:

  • Friday 28 August – 10 am to 1pm

We will be conducting interviews on these advice days is well (depending on existing interview commitments), so please bring in your portfolio if you wish to.
