BA (Hons) Undergraduate Degree Programmes
Our three-year BA Honours degrees demand an energetic and inquisitive approach to critically underpinned practice, which is central to all the programmes. As well as producing practical creative outcomes to a range of projects and live assignments you will also be expected to contextualise your ideas culminating in the writing of a dissertation which is often very influential on the development of practical work and vice versa.
The UCAS points system has recently changed - find out more about the new UCAS tariff for September 2017 entry.
You will be expected to have obtained between 96 and 120 UCAS points (e.g. BTEC National Diploma, Foundation Diploma, A-levels etc) and / or have relevant vocational experience. This can be assessed from a portfolio at interview.

BA (Hons) Extended Degrees
This entry year programme is year one of a four year degree and is designed as a preparatory year to ready you for the transition to the full degree programme of your choice. It provides opportunity to develop your portfolio and technical skills in a specialist subject area. We offer places to students who have at least 5 A*-C grades and a combination of AS and A-level qualifications including one or more creative subjects. We also welcome applications from mature students who may not have the qualification profile but have other experience and knowledge. All applicants will be required to show a portfolio of creative work. We're a partner institution of The Open University (OU), who validate all our undergraduate programmes.
BA (Hons) Top-up
Upon successful completion of a relevant foundation degree or HND, we offer a one-year BA top up programme. The one-year BA programme allows you to specialise in a particular area and undertake a final major project. Entry requirements for the programme include a portfolio of creative work and 240 credits earned through completion of a Foundation Degree, HND or the first two years of a degree. Applicants to the final BA (Hons) qualification may need to undertake bridging activities to prepare them for this final year of study. These activities will be discussed at your interview and are designed to help you make the most of this intensive programme.
