Be an Inspiration
As alumni, there are many different ways you can get involved with the College. If you would like to get involved, you can volunteer your experience, time and skills.
Here are some of the ways that you can help:
Could your story inspire others? Then become an Alumni Case study. For students thinking about studying a course at Art College it can be a tough decision especially with the worry of getting a job at the end of their studies. This is why we need your help, tell us what you are doing and give students an aim and something they can aspire to. Whether you are freelancing or have secured the job that you have always dreamt of, tell us what it is like to work in a creative role, we want to hear from you.
Give a talk about your career:
This is a great opportunity for students to hear what your particular area of work is really like, how you got there and any insider tips you can give. Throughout the year the college hosts many visiting artists’ talks aimed to inspire and open our current students’ eyes to the world of working in the creative industries. If this is something you would like to do please contact out exhibitions team for more information: exhibitions@plymouthart.ac.uk
Have an exhibition of your work:
This is a great opportunity for you to display your work and inspire our current students, if you are interested in putting on a solo or group exhibition in our Gallery again contact out exhibitions team: exhibitions@plymouthart.ac.uk
Offer job opportunities and/or other work experience:
We are always looking to help our students secure jobs including part-time work during term time, vacation work and permanent positions for graduates. Please send details of any appropriate vacancies to: careers@plymouthart.ac.uk
For further information on how you can get involved and any of the above contact us at alumni@plymouthart.ac.uk.
