The following are some of the rewards and benefits we offer:

Final Salary Pension Scheme
The College is able to offer membership of the Local Government and Teachers Pension Schemes. They are administered by Devon Pension Services (LGPS) and Teachers Pension (TP). Both are contributory schemes; employees are required to make contributions from their pensionable pay, in addition the College also makes between 14-16% in contributions. Both are currently final salary schemes which offer a guaranteed pension based on final salary and length of membership of the schemes.

Generous Holiday Entitlement
Annual leave entitlement is between 25 and 30 days per annum (dependant on the type of contract offered) for business support staff and 35 days for academic staff (pro rata if the post is proportional/part time). In addition employees are entitled to all the annual Public Holidays plus 3 efficiency days.

Healthsure Scheme
Following employment of 12 months, the College is pleased to offer an additional employee benefit for private health insurance. The College will pay towards dental, optical, health screening, specialist consultancy, acupuncture etc. Those employees with less than 12 months service will benefit from locally provided schemes such as counselling and optical assistance.

Staff Development
The College operates an annual Performance Development Review scheme to highlight any training and development needs. Employees will have the opportunity to undertake any courses offered by the College or external events where they are relevant to the role. The College will fully fund academic staff who are required to hold contractually a full teaching qualification.
